CLARE THE FLOWER GIRL
Hello, I’m Clare, born in Scotland but been enjoying the Australian lifestyle here in Perth for 17 years now.
Pretty much obsessed with all things botanical, I studied countryside management but ended up working as a florist from 1994 onwards.
I’d describe my style of flower arranging to be earthy, disheveled, evocative and feminine. I love natural dried textures as well as luxe fresh blooms.
No one trick pony here , briefs I take on include moody, minimalist, fun, showstopping, simple, whimsical, wild and colour palettes I love range from nudes to earthen to neon lime with lipstick red!
I’ve had my own retail florist in Scotland , worked as in house florist at The Ritz in London and since coming to Oz worked in various boutique flower stores before starting my own gig “The Flowergirl” out my old garage in 2013.
These days I work from my new home studio - a beautiful whitewashed work space with natural light , customized to store my fridge, vast collection of dried flowers and curated vase collections.
In 2022 I’m taking on new custom corporate installations and taking new wedding enquires ( see weddings page ) .
